MCP Server on Stdio
For local development and testing, you can use the MCP Server on stdio.
This can be useful for local development and testing, or for single-client, low-latency tools.
Prerequisites:
- EventCatalog configured with the
LLMS.txtfeature - EventCatalog Scale license
- MCP client installed (e.g Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop)

Using other MCP Clients
If you are using another MCP client, you can use the EventCatalog MCP server by adding it to your MCP client.
The command you need to use is:
npx -y @eventcatalog/mcp-server {URL_TO_YOUR_EVENTCATALOG_INSTANCE} {EVENTCATALOG_LICENSE_KEY}
