EventCatalog Studio allows you to start a new design from a template.

EventCatalog Studio has predefined templates for you to start from.

To start from a template, click on `Use this template` on the template in the [dashboard](https://app.eventcatalog.studio/dashboard).

This will create a new design from the template.

We are working on allowing you to create your own templates, to share with your teams.

We are working on allowing you to create your own templates, to share with your teams. This will let you create your own patterns and primitives to share with your teams as a starting point for your designs.

Examples:

* A template for a microservices architecture
* A template for a serverless architecture
* A template for a monolithic architecture
* A template for a microservices architecture with a service mesh

This can be useful if you have standards or patterns you want to share with your teams.
