# Function: getDataProduct()

> **getDataProduct**(`directory`): (`id`, `version`?) => `Promise`<`DataProduct`>

Defined in: data-products.ts:34

Returns a data product from EventCatalog.

You can optionally specify a version to get a specific version of the data product
